As previously mentioned here by Seattle Gay News, Modest Mouse will soon announce a concert date at the Paramount Theatre in mid to late April. That date looks to be Sunday, April 15. On-sale ticket date for this show will likely be next weekend. Don't forget that tickets for this Wednesday night's show, March 21, at South Lake Union go on-sale tomorrow morning via Ticketmaster's website. In the event we've incorrectly predicted the Paramount Theatre date - although we correctly tipped you on Bjork at Sasquatch and Arctic Monkeys at The Showbox - we'll post a correction this week with the actual date. Seattle Gay News already has a ticket for Wednesday's concert, and a review of the performance will be available in our March 30 issue.

Modest Mouse will perform at the South Lake Union US Naval Reserve on Wednesday, March 21. Tickets go on sale Monday morning, exclusively on Ticketmaster's website. Password is: Shipwreck. Seattle Gay News has been invited to this unique, exciting event - look for coverage of it in the coming weeks.

Seattle Gay News has learned that Modest Mouse will soon announce a pair of shows here, but the dates cannot be confirmed at this time.
Early to mid-April at the Paramount Theatre looks to be one of the dates that will be formally announced in the coming week. The other date could be announced as early as tomorrow, but the venue has not been named. However, Seattle Gay News has already been put on the guest list for it and we were told to hang tight on the exact date and location.
Modest Mouse, based out of the Issaquah, landed inside SGN's Top Ten Singles/Tracks of 2004 with the cut "Float On". That same year, the alt rock unit earned their first Grammy nomination for their major label debut, Good News for People Who Love Bad News.
